Earthquake blog post

On the 14th of November 2016 in the early morning just about 12am Christchurch had a long rocking  earthquake. The earthquake damaged a few roads in Kaikoura. Some roads have really big deep cracks in the ground. And  big massive rocks from the cliffs fell onto the roads . Also  houses are damaged really badly. In Christchurch in New brighten had a warning to the people that lives really close to the beach.  Earthquakes are usually caused when rock underground suddenly breaks along a fault. This sudden release of energy causes the seismic waves that make the ground shake. When two blocks of rock or two plates are rubbing against each other, they stick a little. When the rocks break, the earthquake occurs.

Shard Lunch Day

On Monday of the 7th of November we had a shard lunch. In the morning we got pi lit up in our writing groups. And the other groups went to do the shopping. When they got back we started to cut up the fruits. For our shard lunch we made Kebabs, Salad, Smoothies and Crisps.
